Working with perinatal clients requires clinical skills that extend beyond general mental health practice. Assessment, formulation, risk assessment, intervention planning, and understanding the wider relational and psychosocial context can present unique challenges in the perinatal period.
This advanced, small-group online training is designed for mental health professionals who work with — or wish to develop their clinical practice with — perinatal populations. The training uses a case-based, clinically focused approach, with opportunities for interactive learning, discussion, and application to real-world clinical practice.
Who is this training for? Clinical psychologists, counselling psychologists, psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists, and other mental health professionals with relevant clinical experience and an interest in developing their skills in perinatal mental health.
